Geekbot workflows offer a variety of scheduling options to help you meet your team's needs, including how often to ping your teammates β€” from once a day right up to the first (or last!) week of each month.

Time settings

To help you achieve asynchronous communication, Geekbot covers every time zone; it even offers the option to sync notifications with each user's local time zone. This ensures everyone receives their pings at an appropriate hour.

If people work different hours, you can get the bot to only notify someone when they come online. Meaning if a teammate is out-of-office, Geekbot won't ping them at all and so avoid filling their dashboard with unnecessary notifications.

Your teammates can also set their own schedule (both time and time zone) confirming when they'd like to receive Geekbot notifications by enabling the 'Personalize' option, which they can access via My Preferences in the Geekbot dashboard.
