Managing your Geekbot payment and billing details is straightforward. This guide will walk you through the entire checkout process, including how to update your credit card or billing details.

Checkout Process: Selecting a Payment Method and Billing Information

Geekbot supports two payment methods: Stripe (for Slack and MS Teams users) and Microsoft Azure (for MS Teams users only). Below is a step-by-step guide for completing your purchase and adding billing information.

Step 1: Access Billing Information

  • Navigate to Billing: Go to the Settings section of your dashboard, and under 'Billing', select the Payment Information tab.

  • Choose a Payment Method:

    • Stripe (Credit Card): Click Pay using credit card.

    • Azure (Microsoft Azure): For MS Teams users, select Pay using Azure (you’ll then be redirected to the Azure portal to manage your subscription).

Step 2: Add your Credit Card and Billing Information

  • After selecting Pay using credit card, a form will appear asking for your credit card details.

  • Choose your plan - Annual or Monthly. The annual plan offers a 17% discount (two months free); find out more here.

  • Enter your credit card details:

    • Card Number

    • Expiration Date

    • CVC

  • Enter your billing information (required to process your invoice):

    • Company Name*

    • Country

    • Address (Street, City, State/Province, Postal Code)

    • VAT ID (optional)

💡 *If this is a not a business purchase, feel free to uncheck the option and add your personal details instead.

Here’s an example of the billing form you’ll need to complete:

  • Once all the details are correct, click Complete your Purchase to activate your subscription.

Updating Payment and Billing Information

If you need to update your credit card or billing details anytime, you can do so from the same tab; here’s how:

  • Navigate to Billing: Go to the Settings section of your dashboard, and under Billing, select the Payment Information tab.

  • To update your credit card, click on Change Credit Card, enter the new card details (Card Number, Expiration Date, and CVC) and hit Submit.

  • To update your billing information, scroll further down to modify the necessary fields (Name, Address, VAT ID, etc.)
