As the poll creator, you can extend voting while your poll is still open. Below you’ll find the two ways to do it, plus what to keep in mind for recurring polls.
Extend your poll from the dashboard
Open your poll, click Manage and select Extend voting. Then choose one of the suggested extensions or set a custom one.
Extend your poll from Slack
30 minutes before voting closes, Geekbot sends you a DM with a few extension options to pick from. This DM is only sent for polls open for at least an hour, so shorter polls can only be extended from the dashboard.
💡 Tip: For recurring polls, only the current poll is extended and voting must still close at least 30 minutes before the next one is sent.
