How to add the How Your Team Is Feeling poll

  • Choose your Audience

    • Pick from two options to define who receives the poll:

      • Direct Users: Select individuals to receive the poll via DM

      • Slack Channel: Post the poll in a public channel where all members can respond

  • Schedule your poll (we suggest every Monday or Friday)

  • Determine who can see the results:

    • Make responses visible to everyone (either live or once the poll closes)

    • Restrict visibility (so only you can see results)

    • Enable anonymous responses (available for any poll/survey)

When you're all set, hit Publish. Geekbot will ping your team as per your delivery settings and responses will arrive soon enough. ๐ŸŽ‰


Best practices

  • The poll works best as a weekly check-in (run it at the start or end of the week to keep tabs on team sentiment)

  • Follow up privately when necessary (when the poll isn't anonymous, of course)
