How to add the How Your Team Is Feeling poll
Select the How Your Team is Feeling template
Choose your Audience
Pick from two options to define who receives the poll:
Direct Users: Select individuals to receive the poll via DM
Slack Channel: Post the poll in a public channel where all members can respond
Schedule your poll (we suggest every Monday or Friday)
Determine who can see the results:
Make responses visible to everyone (either live or once the poll closes)
Restrict visibility (so only you can see results)
Enable anonymous responses (available for any poll/survey)
When you're all set, hit Publish. Geekbot will ping your team as per your delivery settings and responses will arrive soon enough. 🎉
Best practices
The poll works best as a weekly check-in (run it at the start or end of the week to keep tabs on team sentiment)
Follow up privately when necessary (when the poll isn't anonymous, of course)
Share highlights with the team to show you're putting their feedback into action
