The Company Benefits template helps you collect focused feedback on how well your current benefits meet employee needs. It shows you what people like, where there may be gaps, and how well team members understand whatโ€™s available to them.

With this recurring check-in, you can make more informed HR decisions and ensure the benefits you offer stay relevant and valued.

How to set up a Company Benefits survey

  • Choose your Audience

    • Pick from two options to define who receives the survey:

      • Direct Users: Select individuals to receive the survey via DM

      • Slack Channel: Post the survey in a public channel where all members can respond

  • Schedule your survey (annually is likely sufficient)

  • Determine who can see the Results:

    • Make responses visible to everyone (either live or once the survey closes)

    • Restrict visibility (so only you can see results)

    • Enable anonymous responses (available for any poll/survey)

When you're all set, hit Publish. Geekbot will ping your team as per your delivery settings and responses will arrive soon enough. ๐ŸŽ‰


Best practices

  • Run the survey annually to evaluate how employee needs evolve over time and whether existing benefits are still effective

  • Keep questions specific (ask about categories like health, time off, and wellness programs separately to get more precise feedback)

  • Share actions taken as a result of the survey to show the importance of the feedback
