How to add a Gather Feedback Poll
Select the Gather Feedback template
Choose your Audience
Pick from two options to define who receives the poll:
Direct Users: Select individuals to receive the poll via DM
Slack Channel: Post the poll in a public channel where all members can respond
Schedule your poll
Run on-demand after specific events (e.g., a company offsite or training session)
Run quarterly to collect feedback on ongoing programs and internal resources
Determine who can see the Results
Make responses visible to everyone (either live or once the poll closes)
Restrict visibility (so only you can see results)
Enable anonymous responses (available for any poll/survey)
When you're all set, hit Publish. Geekbot will ping your team as per your delivery settings and responses will arrive soon enough. 🎉
Best practices
Trigger the poll immediately after an event (while feedback is still fresh in the mind)
Share a quick summary of what you learned (and what changes you'll make) to close the feedback loop
