The Geekbot Timeline provides a centralized view of your team’s reported updates, helping you track progress, streamline communication, and analyze trends. Whether you’re managing a fast-moving project or ensuring transparency across teams, the Timeline is a powerful tool to stay aligned.

What is the Timeline?

The Timeline shows all reports submitted by participants within a specific standup. Each update is automatically posted in the designated Slack channel and recorded in Geekbot’s dashboard, ensuring you never miss a critical update.

As a standup member, you can:

✔️ View all reports in chronological order
✔️ Use filters to sort updates based on participants and questions
✔️ Download data as a CSV file for deeper analysis

This makes it easy to monitor team contributions, identify trends, and maintain a historical record of responses.

How to refine your view with 'Filters'

Filters let you focus on the most relevant information. Here are some of the filters you can use:

  • Participants: View reports from specific team members to track individual contributions.

  • Questions: Select key questions to analyze trends and responses over time.

  • Date Range: Narrow down reports to a specific timeframe for a focused view.

These filters make it simple to extract actionable insights from your team’s reports.

Exporting reports as CSV

Need to analyze your data further? Geekbot allows you to export reports in CSV format, enabling you to:

📊 Perform custom analysis in spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets
📢 Share reports with stakeholders or leadership

Simply apply the filters you need, then click “Export data as CSV” to download the relevant responses.
