Benefits

Take the pulse of your engineering team to track perceived productivity, uncover workflow bottlenecks (deploys, tooling, code quality), and protect deep work time. So teams can ship faster with fewer interruptions.

  • Choose your Audience

    • Pick from two options to define who receives the survey:

      • Direct Users: Select individuals to receive the survey via DM

  • Schedule your survey:

    • Suggested recurrence: Every 1 month

    • Response duration: 14 days

  • Determine who can see the Results:

Make responses visible to everyone in real time after a user votes, or only once the survey closes.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Keep in mind that Anonymous responses are enabled by default in this template and cannot be changed to ensure confidentiality and unbiased responses.

When you're all set, hit Publish. Geekbot will ping your team as per your delivery settings and responses will arrive soon enough. πŸŽ‰

Best practices

  • Timebox responses for 14 days and remind midway if participation lags

  • Review results and convert patterns into clear action items

  • Close the loop publicly on fixes (e.g., CI speedups, meeting cuts, doc updates)
