Benefits

Incidents can throw the whole team off its course. Geekbot's Incident Log makes it easy to flag issues using Slack or MS Teams, enabling team-wide visibility of an incident's latest status and allowing proactive troubleshooting.

How to add this template

It's a simple 3-step process:

1. Select the Incident Log from the templates page

2. Include your teammates from the Participants block

3. Select a broadcast channel to post reports

✨ Auto-save drafts

As you configure your standup, Geekbot periodically saves your changes. You'll see an indicator displaying the most recent save timestamp, so you'll know exactly when your changes were secured.

This way, you can take your time perfecting the standup without worrying about losing any adjustments and avoiding sending notifications to your team.

πŸ™ Publish

When everything looks good, simply publish your standup. This action will alert your team to the new standup and let them know the timing of their first prompt.

Best practices

  1. Pick a broadcast channel focused on incidents and bugs

  2. Always add the latest incidents so that the report becomes a single source of truth
