Even at the best of times, people used to remote work can struggle with loneliness, distractions, and striking a work-life balance. The WFH standup helps you check in with your team, proactively uncover issues that could affect their mental health, and provide support when needed.
How to add this template
It's a simple 3-step process:
1. Select the Work From Home templates page
2. Include your teammates from the Participants block
3. Select a broadcast channel to post reports
β¨ Auto-save drafts
As you configure your standup, Geekbot periodically saves your changes. You'll see an indicator displaying the most recent save timestamp, so you'll know exactly when your changes were secured.
This way, you can take your time perfecting the standup without worrying about losing any adjustments and avoiding sending notifications to your team.v
π Publish
When everything looks good, simply publish your standup. This action will alert your team to the new standup and let them know the timing of their first prompt.π
Best practices
Use the duplicate feature (one for each team member) and broadcast them all in the same private channel to maintain confidentiality.
We find a weekly schedule is best, though this can depend on your team and how often they like to check in.
This template works well in tandem with your usual check-ins, letting your teammates share what's on their minds before you actually meet.
