How to set up an Culture & Well-being Scan survey
Select the Culture & Well-being Scan template.
Choose your Audience
Pick from two options to define who receives the survey:
Direct Users: Select individuals to receive the survey via DM
Slack Channel: Post the survey in a channel where all members can respond
Schedule your survey:
Suggested recurrence: Every 3 months
Response duration: 14 days
Determine who can see the Results:
Make responses visible to everyone in real time after a user votes, or only once the survey closes.
💡 Tip: Keep in mind that Anonymous responses are enabled by default in this template and cannot be changed to ensure confidentiality and unbiased responses.
When you're all set, hit Publish. Geekbot will ping your team as per your delivery settings and responses will arrive soon enough. 🎉
Best practices
Use the "Welcome message" to say upfront how results will be used (e.g., to improve inclusion and workload health) to boost trust and participation
Close the loop each quarter with a short “What we heard → What we’re doing” update and re-measure the same items next cycle
